Unfortunately, the consequence of tourism results in a high amount of pollution, mainly received during the summer holidays, as a consequence of the growth of tourism due to its high economic importance.

But at the same time it is in our hands to promote the correct care of nature, because, although it is an important source of income and entertainment for millions of people, it is our duty to keep it healthy, so that it can continue to be used in the future by other people, and our moral commitment also goes beyond that, reaching out to non-human species.

At Ecolmare we offer more solutions to clean up coastlines, keeping harbour waters healthy and avoiding pollution at the expense of increased tourism.

We must learn to see nature as an element under our care, and not just as an element to be exploited by human interests. Moreover, if we look at it in a cold way, it is an investment that we must protect, so that in the future we can continue to use it and it remains an attractive place for tourists.

In the same way, keeping inland waters free and clean goes beyond a simple aesthetic sense, since, as part of the ecosystem, we must promote an ecological balance that keeps the species with which we share the territory safe.

Thanks to our vessels, "Pelican", "Minipelican" and "Gavina", we cover port and coastal waters. With this objective in mind, our main purpose is to remove floating waste from the waters.

We strive to remove both solid and oily waste to ensure water conservation and prevent pollution. By promoting responsible care of the environment, we seek to encourage sustainable and responsible use of natural resources.
