class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Francisco Cerd\u00e1n<\/strong>, The delegate for Tourism and Beaches of the Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa del Sol Occidental, has officially presented the <strong>Coastal Cleanup Campaign 2025<\/strong>, This is a key initiative to ensure the sustainability and good condition of our beaches during the high season.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Del_3_de_junio_al_3_de_septiembre\"><\/span>From 3 June to 3 September<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The campaign will run from 3 June to 3 September and will cover the whole of the coastline from 3 June to 3 September. <strong>from Manilva to Torremolinos<\/strong>. These wastes, mainly generated by humans, take the longest to degrade and pose a direct threat to the environment. <strong>marine fauna and the food chain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<blockquote><p>\n\u201cWe wake up to pitiful images of beaches littered with bottles and rubbish. We are incapable, at times, of picking up a bag and leaving it by the litter bin,\u201d Cerd\u00e1n lamented.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Concienciacion_ciudadana_una_responsabilidad_compartida\"><\/span>Citizen awareness: a shared responsibility<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In addition to the technical equipment, the campaign includes a significant <strong>public awareness action<\/strong>, The project, promoted by the beach and environment councillors of all the municipalities of the Mancomunidad. The objective: <strong>to involve users, fishermen and nautical activities<\/strong> respect and care for the sea.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>It is also recalled that <strong>celebrations such as St. John's Day<\/strong> generate a large amount of waste, much of which ends up in the sea if not properly managed.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<blockquote><p>\n\u201cLet's fight for that individual responsibility on our beach days.
