Most of them are designed to work <strong>near the coast<\/strong>The new vessels are designed to collect small floating debris, such as plastics and wood. According to the Regional Ministry, this is an integrated approach that combines active waste collection with public awareness-raising.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Inversion_sostenible\"><\/span>Sustainable investment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The campaign has a total budget of <strong>1.5 million<\/strong>The <strong>sustainable tourism tax<\/strong>. This investment translates into a coordinated effort to protect one of the Balearic Islands' most precious assets: <strong>the sea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Resultados_y_objetivo_para_este_ano\"><\/span>Results and target for this year<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>During last year's campaign, the following were collected <strong>27 tonnes of waste<\/strong>mainly plastics and wood. The expectation for this year is <strong>reduce this figure<\/strong>This would be an indicator that the coastline is cleaner and that the population is increasingly committed to caring for the marine environment.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Llamamiento_a_la_ciudadania\"><\/span>Appeal to the public<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Regional Ministry stresses the importance of the reinforcement of resources, but also appeals to the public:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n\"If we collect less waste, it means the sea is cleaner.
