The proliferation of small boats of all kinds for water sports has increased the degree of risk for bathers on the beaches.<\/p>\n

These measures guarantee the safety of bathers, who use the beaches for entertainment, by perfectly establishing the protection zones, as they are marked out.<\/p>\n

Having the areas perfectly marked out helps to delimit perfectly the areas where elements such as windsurf boards, water skis, jet skis, sailboats, motor boats, etc. can be used and delimit them from the areas available for bathers, contributing to their greater safety.<\/p>\n

In this way, the areas that can be used by bathers are established. There is also a delimitation of the areas available for recreational boating, being areas where the use of sailing or motor boats is permitted.<\/p>\n

Other types of boats, such as jet skis, may sail through the boat area, but not exceeding 3 knots and taking extreme precautions.<\/p>\n

Ecolmare designs and installs beaconing systems using national (RD 1835\/1983 of 25 March 1983) and European materials and regulations.<\/p>\n

The correct management of the use of beaches requires a system of beacons to delimit them:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Beaconing of the coastal strip<\/h2><\/div>
It is installed parallel to the coast, between buoys the separation may be up to 200 metres and this delimits the bathing area from the navigation area.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

This area is reserved exclusively for bathers and water sports are prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Nautical channels for use by vessels<\/h2><\/div>
These marked channels make it possible to establish a completely different zone between the areas used by maritime vehicles and the areas used by bathers.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In addition to being annoying, the presence of boats close to the shore is dangerous for bathers, and this differentiation is extremely useful, mainly by delimiting the strip of sea along which these boats can sail.<\/p>\n

It is therefore the responsibility of boat skippers, as well as those who use recreational vehicles such as jet skis, sailing boats and paddle surf boards, to be fully aware of this area, so it is very important that the area is well signposted.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

A correctly marked area allows to establish which areas are for the exclusive use of bathers.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

It is important to know that, if there are no buoys, any floating vehicle can navigate in the area, taking into account the approximate 200 metres distance from the coast and exercising extreme caution.<\/p>\n
