There are times when pollution in port, coastal and inland waters is such that it represents an environmental contingency, so it is extremely necessary to take action quickly and with appropriate measures to avoid further damage to the ecosystem.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In this case, the situation may stem from an oil spill, to which a rapid response is needed to protect the shoreline and clean up the waters along the coast.<\/p>\n

Different measures can be taken according to the degree of the problem, the main one being to take containment action, trying to keep the presence of oil flotsam in one area by using booms to prevent it from spreading to the rest of the area.<\/p>\n

Once this has been done, the next step is to recover as much of the oil residue as possible, using mechanical means and cleaning the area.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

When fuels leak and the risk of contamination is high, measures should be used to collect the debris and prevent further environmental damage.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In this regard, depending on the severity of the problem, different phases are used to first limit the spread of the fuel and then to implement an action to remove as many pollutants as possible from the water.<\/p>\n
