Coastal water clean-up is a necessary year-round programme as coastal waters suffer from an increase in floating pollution due to lack of awareness and the impact of tourism, such as the massive use of recreational boats and the increase in population in coastal areas during the summer season. With its implementation, effective measures can be taken to reduce this problem and protect the coastal environment.<\/p>\n

In the same way that society enjoys these waters, it also demands that the administrations ensure that their environmental quality is high.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

To guarantee this quality, Ecolmare has a fleet of vessels called \"Pelican\", \"Minipelican\" and \"Gavina\", specially designed to combat pollution from floating and\/or semi-submerged solids, as well as hydrocarbons and oil.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
